On Monday 5th September children in Apple Class and Palm class spent the day learning about the Holy Trinity. We learnt that there is one God that has three parts: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

We looked at an apple and explored the 3 parts of it: the skin, the flesh and the seeds. The whole apple was God.

We made Trinity muffins where we used 3 balls of mixture and placed them in our muffing case, labelling them God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. When they came out of the oven the 3 balls of mixture became one cake, like the Holy Trinity.

We made a stained glass window of a shamrock which was St Patrick’s way of describing the Trinity to his followers.

We also learnt the Trinity Song.
